L’agence métropolitaine de transport (AMT) est un agence gouvernementale qui est responsable a planifier, intriguer et coordonner le transport en commun pour la métropole de Montréal, incluant l'île de Montréal, Laval et quelques communautés autour du Rive Nord et du Rive Sud de Montréal.

L'AMT sont les propriétaires et les responsables de 5 lignes de train de banlieue et planifie d'ajouter une sixième à la fin de l'année 2012.
